Question: How do we know if we are abiding by the doctrine of Guruji or not?
Pujya Bapuji: One who has taken initiation from Guruji and imbibed the established doctrine of the Guruji, will not grieve over the past nor be scared of the future. He will not become happy or sad in trivial matters, considering the world to be real. But if he becomes happy or sad in trivial matters, Guru tattva has not fully descended in him. The experience of grief, fear, sorrow and stress signify that despite being initiated by Guru, he has not translated the doctrine, the soul of Guru in his life. Otherwise what is the cause of fear or grief for you?

“When delusion and afflictions of the body are removed, grief and elation do not affect you, be sure that you have met the Guru. Then you are Guru yourself.”
The one who has offered his heart unreservedly to the Guru and imbibed his principles, such a great disciple becomes the Guru himself. He remains untouched by attachment, hatred, elation, grief and hostility.
When you are accompanied by a gunman while passing through a dangerous forest, it makes you feel stronger. You feel confident that you are accompanied by a soldier, a security guard or even a commander. You have direct contact with the Supreme Self, in comparison to whom all commanders seem tiny. With mere connection between a mobile sim card and satellite, you offer assurance to your dear ones, “Don’t worry, mother! I am carrying a mobile with me! I shall call just now.”
Merely carrying a mobile or being accompanied by a security guard boosts your confidence. Then how can there be any question of fear, grief or sorrow when Guru-Diksha, has connected you with the Supreme Lord, whose power is greater than all the security services of the world?
